Behind the Scenes at a Spring Wedding at the Dr. Phillips House

Blue and white floral arrangements line a brick aisle beside white chairs at an outdoor ceremony space. Floral designs are moss meadows with airy blue and white flowers including queen anne's lace and delphinium lining the wedding ceremony aisles.

Caroline and Samuel reached out to us to create floral designs that felt classy, elegant, and light, and then gave us the creative freedom to create custom designs that fit perfectly in their wedding space.

The final result -- bouquets of periwinkle and peach blooms full of classic flowers like roses, hydrangea, and campanula wrapped in trailing ribbon that matched the bridesmaid dresses perfectly! Lining the aisle were airy moss meadows with blooms that danced in the wind and then were moved inside to decorate the reception.

It was a sunny (and hot!!!) day, so we had to take extra care of the delicate blooms in the moss meadows by keeping them out of direct sun for as long as possible and misting with water up until the last few minutes before the ceremony started. They were high maintenance but clearly worth it.

A note about the venue. The Dr. Phillips House is a historic venue in Downtown Orlando perfect for intimate weddings. It is such a charming space with reception options inside and out and a gorgeous garden area for the ceremony. One of my favorite parts of the job is getting to explore unique venues and this is definitely a favorite!
