Meet Your Lead Designer
Hello! I’m Tayelor, founder and lead designer of Wayward Blooms.
I opened my studio after spending ten years in research and project management studying family and fertility trends. I analyzed data, wrote reports and news articles, and even taught my own courses at Florida State for a few semesters.
In all of these roles I looked for ways to inject creativity into my work, whether that be in my lesson plans or by color coordinating my conference posters. After spending several years in D.C. as a family demographer and working for premier florists on the side, I was ready to take on a new challenge and Wayward Blooms was born.
Outside of flowers, I love exploring new cities, taking walks with my husband and dog, antique shopping, and coffee dates with my mom and sisters.

We source the finest blooms and foliages from local growers whenever possible, including our own cutting garden.
